Eerbetoon Gelderse Vallei 2020 – Ede

The regional emergency services; Police, fire brigade and ambulance paid tribute to the hospital staff of the Gelderse Vallei on Thursday evening, April 23, 2020. It looked like this:

The action of the emergency services was conceived as a surprise to the staff who have to work extra hard in these times of corona. Fire trucks, police cars and ambulances drove through Ede with flashing lights, lined up in front of the hospital and lifted the ladder of a fire truck.

On this ladder was a very large banner with the text: “Red, Blue, Yellow Support White, TOGETHER ONE”. The emergency services also made a large, red heart out of fire hoses. Our mayor René Verhulst also stepped into the tray of the car ladder. He thanked the staff from a great height.
